Half a Cow. A Full Freezer. Beef You Can Trust From First Feeding to Final Cut.
Approximately 250–300 lbs of show-finished Two + Five Ranch beef, vacuum-sealed and frozen.
This isn't bulk beef from an anonymous feedlot. This is half a steer that was raised by a Texas 4-H kid, finished on our proprietary Two + Five Finish Line™ three-phase feed program, and processed at a licensed Texas facility — documented from intake day to carcass report.
We target USDA Prime on every animal that comes through Two + Five Ranch. When we hit it, you'll know — because we share the carcass report.
What's in the half cow: Your half will be cut to order and includes a full selection across every primal:
Loin — Ribeyes, New York strips, T-bones, and tenderloins. The cuts that make people drive to steakhouses. Yours are in your freezer.
Chuck — Chuck roasts and chuck steaks. The cut that low-and-slow was invented for. Show-finished chuck has the fat cap and marbling to hold up to hours in the smoker or Dutch oven.
Round — Eye of round, bottom round roasts, and round steaks. Lean, versatile, the everyday workhorses of a well-stocked freezer.
Brisket — Whole packer or separated flat and point per your request. Texas beef deserves Texas brisket treatment. Ours has the fat content to go the distance.
Ribs — Back ribs and short ribs. The cuts your guests will ask about.
Flank, Skirt & Hanger — The chef's cuts. Thin, intensely flavored, and better on a cast iron than anything you'll find at retail.
Ground Beef — Approximately 80–100 lbs of 80/20 ground beef in 1 lb and 2 lb vacuum-sealed packages. The most versatile cut in the freezer and ours grinds from whole muscle trim — no filler, no mystery.
Freezer space: Plan for approximately 8–10 cubic feet. A standard chest freezer or a dedicated upright freezer will handle a half cow comfortably.
Cut sheet: You choose how your beef is cut. When you place your order, we'll send you a cut sheet — steak thickness, roast sizes, how you want the ground beef packaged. This is custom butchery, not a preset box.
Processing: All Two + Five Ranch beef is custom-processed at a licensed Texas facility. Meat is returned to you labeled per Texas DSHS custom exemption requirements. All products are individually vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen at the facility.
Delivery can be arranged in Texas, or pickup from College Station, Texas.
Beef purchases are tax exempt in Texas.
